Can the Town require employees to telecommute?
  • Yes. An employer may encourage or require employees to telecommute to control the spread of the virus. Many organizations are making plans to have at least some of their workforce telecommute in the event that the virus impacts their ability to come to work, and some employers already have mandated a telecommuting practice.
